From 1 July 2012, a price on carbon will be part of the economic landscape. Whether through direct costs, indirect effects or influences that flow through the supply chain, a price on carbon will impact your business.

It has been identified that much of this impact on businesses will be through increased energy costs. Energy prices have increased regardless of a price on carbon. The introduction of a price on carbon will continue to impact energy prices going forward. Electricity prices are set to increase by around 20%.
